The Development Consultancy Team has experience in managing various type of Projects; acting as “lead consultant”; helping managing other development consultants in bringing forward development projects.
A key project requiring these skills was Emersons Green, Bristol. As lead consultant (“Chairman”), John Turner gave advice to a consortium of major UK house builders, pension funds and other companies in respect of a site of more than 900 acres.
The project included 3,500 houses, a superstore, non-food retail, leisure uses and more than 400 acres of other B1, B2 and B8 development. The consortium members included the homes divisions of Heron, Wimpey, Beazer, Ideal, David Wilson and Taylor Woodrow. Also involved were the Universities of Bath, Bristol and West of England who intended to create an Academic Innovation Centre on land donated by the Consortium.
